About CWRC
Our History
Carolina Wildlife Rehabilitation Center was founded in 2019 by a dedicated group of wildlife rehabbers who saw a need for more comprehensive wildlife care resources in our communities. Our intake numbers have proven just how much our wildlife center is needed. Year after year, we have consistently grown and have saved 1000's of lives, all thanks to the helping hands of our amazing community!
Our Team
Our amazing team of licensed wildlife rehabbers and part-time volunteers are passionate about our native wildlife. They provide the highest quality care to the animals while in rehab. Think you would be a good fit? Get in touch for more information!
Our Vet Partner
We are fortunate to have a long standing relationship with Waxhaw Animal Hospital in Waxhaw, NC. Our critically injured wildlife are able to be hospitalized and receive care around the clock. Dr. Burtis performs all surgeries, including orthopedic repairs on birds and mammals. We could not help as many animals as we do without her support.
